9.24.17 – PHOENIX: West Valley government and business leaders are developing shopping, entertainment and job hubs in a continued effort to keep residents from being siphoned to other areas in the Valley. Storefronts with medical centers in Goodyear, restaurants along Bell Road, and factories placed by once-empty fields along the Loop 303 and Thomas Road at the PV|303 Business Park are among projects on the books.
6.6.2017 – PHOENIX: UPS will bring up to 1,500 jobs to Goodyear over the next two years with the opening of a package-processing facility along the industrial Loop 303 corridor. United Parcel Service intends to expand the 618,000-square-foot building it leased in May into a 970,000-square-foot facility and bring 500 full-time and 1,000 part-time jobs by the end of 2019.
6.1.2017 – CHICAGO: First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: FR), a leading fully integrated owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, announced that it leased its entire recently constructed 618,350 square-foot distribution center at PV|303 in the Phoenix market to UPS, a global leader in logistics. As part of the transaction, First Industrial also leased an adjoining 65-acre land parcel that it recently purchased for $11.6 million to UPS.
5.16.2017 – GOODYEAR: Merit Partners Inc. and Sunbelt Holdings have been named recipients of the Industrial Project of the Year award by NAIOP for REI Goodyear DC, a distribution center for Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI), located at PV|303, a master planned business park in Goodyear, Arizona. The facility is the only net zero energy, U.S. Green Building LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certified distribution center in the world.

12.21.2016 – SEATTLE: Today, REI announced a major milestone in its continued work to lead on sustainable operations. Its newest distribution center, located in Goodyear, Arizona, has achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certification – the highest level in the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) green building rating system – making it the first distribution center in the U.S. to achieve both LEED Platinum certification and Net Zero Energy.

09.28.16 – SEATTLE: REI, the specialty outdoor co-op, has designed its new distribution center to be Net Zero Energy and is pursuing LEED Platinum – the highest level in the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) rating system. Situated in the Arizona desert, the facility is intended to be one of the world’s most sustainable distribution centers.
5.1.2015 – SEATTLE: Today, leading outdoor retailer REI announced that it will open a third distribution center, located in Goodyear, Arizona, to better support its stores and customers through faster product replenishment and delivery.
